Description
To mark the tenth anniversary of the Iris Murdoch Research Centre, Miles Leeson (the Director of the Centre) has collected his essays from the past decade in this volume. Whilst many have been published before in various publications such as The Times Literary Supplement, Books Ireland, the American Philosophical Association, the Booker Prize foundation, several essays have never been published before. Whilst the majority focus on Murdoch, there is also work on Elizabeth Bowen, Brigid Brophy, Muriel Spark, Rumer Godden and John Bayley.
All profits will go to the Iris Murdoch Society.
